Renaissance Concourse Atlanta - (3) Free-Standing Pergolas (Reinforced Concrete Footings) (COM)(CC) -- Installation of three (3) free-standing modular pergolas, 24'-0" x 24'-0" each, on the existing concrete plaza at the main entrance of the Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel. Work includes eighteen (18) new reinforced concrete footings, 26" x 26" x 18" deep, 3,000 psi, requiring saw-cutting and removal of sections of the existing 4-inch patio slab. Each footing reinforced with (4) #4 bars each way, top and bottom, with 3-inch clear cover at bottom and 2-inch at top. (4) 1/2-inch diameter anchor bolts at each post base with 4.5-inch minimum embedment. Nine (9) posts bear on the existing 14-inch-wide concrete trench wall using (4) 1/2-inch diameter Simpson SET-3G adhesive anchors each, 4.5-inch minimum embedment. All anchors corrosion-resistant. All work per sealed structural letter by Pierre Coiron, PE, Stability Engineering, Se#26441, dated 07/01/2026. No alterations or attachment to the existing building structure. Airport review complete: DOA Planning & Development and Atlanta Fire issued For Construction 07/14/2026, Case PD-26-IFC-TEN-003356. Replaces voided permit BB-202604564.
