Murphy Crossing - Vertical Demolition Only (COM) -- The scope of the project consists of the demolition and removal of eight (8) existing building structures currently located on-site, as well as the partial demolition of two (2) additional structures. The partially demolished buildings are intended to be preserved and incorporated into the future redevelopment of the site.
Demolition of the on-site buildings is proposed to slab grade only. No ground or land disturbing activities are included as part of this scope, except for the removal of four (4) trees currently growing through or otherwise attached to the existing dilapidated structures. The existing concrete slabs for each building are to remain in place and will not be removed under this permit. Slab removal and any associated ground disturbing activities will be addressed under a separate application, which is to be submitted and approved as part of the future Land Disturbance Permit (LDP) process for subsequent development phases.
