Property Maintenance -- I would like to report a property maintenance issue regarding the neighboring yard adjacent to my home. The vegetation on this property has been severely overgrown for several years and has not been properly maintained. The overgrowth extends over my fence and into my yard, creating an ongoing nuisance and raising significant health and safety concerns. In addition, the excessive vegetation appears to be contributing to a growing rat problem in the area. We have observed rats climbing through the overgrown vegetation and into nearby trees. This is especially concerning because there are elderly residents and children living throughout the neighborhood. The property only appears to receive minimal maintenance on rare occasions, if at all, and the conditions have continued to worsen over the years. The overgrowth is now affecting neighboring properties, including mine, by encroaching onto my fence and creating an environment that attracts pests. I respectfully request that this property be inspected and that the owner be required to bring it into compliance with applicable property maintenance and public health standards. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
