This permit application is being submitted to address City of Tampa Code Enforcement Case CMP-25-0014476 at 1202 E Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tampa, FL 33603. All previously performed electrical work associated with the violation has been removed. No additional electrical installation or modification is proposed under this permit. The proposed scope of work consists of restoring the existing commercial building's front exterior façade to its previously existing condition, as reflected in the submitted plans. Work includes removal of existing metal security bars from the front storefront windows, repairing and patching damaged exterior masonry and stucco surfaces, restoring the appearance of the front building façade, and applying exterior primer and finish paint in accordance with the submitted signed and sealed construction plans. The primary purpose of this project is to restore the building to its previously existing condition, as reflected in the submitted plans, rather than introduce new construction, additions, or changes to the existing building configuration. Existing storefront doors, windows, structural walls, and concrete walkway will remain. All affected areas will be repaired, cleaned, and restored in accordance with the submitted plans. All work will be performed in accordance with the approved plans and applicable City of Tampa building codes and regulations. The intent of this permit is to restore the building to its previously existing condition, correct the applicable code violations, and obtain the required inspections and approvals to bring the property into compliance.
