SR-26-28335--Illegal Short Term Rental-- The property located at 1407 E. Hanna Ave, Tampa, FL 33604 has been operating as a short term rental for over a year. This neighborhood is zoned SH RH (Suburban Residential). Rentals are restricted to a minimum stay of seven (7) nights. However, this property is being advertised on Airbnb and operated with minimum stays of three (3) nights, a clear violation of the ordinance. The listing on Airbnb is found at:https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1526827588121861673 and you can see proof from the attached screen shot that the landlord allows three-day rentals. The frequent turnover of guests and excessive noise are destroying the residential character of the neighborhood and have negatively impacted our quality of life. We are asking that you take appropriate enforcement action to ensure compliance with zoning requirements.
