The purpose of this revision is to address UFAS compliance within the residential unit kitchen layouts. Modifications were made to the counter spacing and appliance positions to ensure kitchen configurations meet or exceed the required clear floor spaces and turn-radii. The wall and base cabinets dimensions were adjusted to provide a minimum 60-inch clear floor space between all opposing base cabinets and appliances. This ensures proper wheelchair maneuverability and unobstructed turning space within the primary kitchen workspace. This includes plumbing modifications associated with this wall adjustment.
