Property Maintenance -- Unsanitary Conditions
I am requesting a Code Enforcement inspection of this property due to ongoing unsanitary and deteriorating conditions affecting the building. These issues are not limited to my apartment but are present throughout the community and include:
* A persistent building-wide roach infestation.
* A widespread fruit fly infestation.
* Dog feces left in common areas.
* Carpets in the lobby and common hallways with what appear to be urine stains that have remained in that condition for an extended period.
* The carpets emit a strong odor consistent with pet urine.
* Conditions that have persisted despite repeated reports to property management.
These conditions negatively affect the health, safety, sanitation, and reasonable enjoyment of the property for residents. The property is advertised as a luxury apartment community; however, the ongoing conditions described above are inconsistent with that representation and indicate a failure to adequately maintain the premises.
I respectfully request that the City conduct a Code Enforcement inspection and determine whether the property is in compliance with all applicable City of Atlanta property maintenance and nuisance ordinances. I am prepared to provide photographs, videos, and documentation of these conditions, as well as records of prior maintenance requests, if needed.
