SR #26-36864 - "A large quantity of branches was recently cut from a large mulberry tree on the neighboring property immediately adjacent to our shared chain-link fence. The cut branches were left piled directly against the fence, stacked higher than the fence line. We have observed rats, snakes, and possums sheltering under and within the debris, allowing them easy access to our yard. The mulberry tree has aggressively regrown and is currently growing into the overhead utility lines. We are requesting an inspection of the accumulated tree debris along the shared fence and the trees encroachment into the utility lines. The person who manages/maintains the neighboring rental property recently cut a substantial number of branches from the mulberry tree but left the cut branches piled against our shared fence rather than removing them.We contacted him directly and requested that the debris be removed. He declined to take immediate action, stating that the property will eventually be renovated and the tree removed, but he will not address the debris in the meantime. We also requested contact information for the property owner but were not provided with it.I have photos documenting the debris, its height relative to the fence, its location directly against our property, and the trees current growth into the overhead utility lines."
