Sr#26-00032783-"I am filing an urgent follow-up violation report regarding an ongoing, unmaintained swimming pool at 3143 W Varn Ave (Ref: Closed Case CMP-26-0009081). The pool pump and filtration system have been completely inoperable for over six months, leaving hundreds of gallons of stagnant, untreated water. Given the active Mosquito-Borne Illness Alert and rise in locally acquired Dengue fever cases in Hillsborough County, this unmaintained pool presents a severe public health hazard especially to my two young toddlers living next door (ages 18 months and 4 years). Because temporary maintenance has repeatedly failed, I am requesting an immediate code enforcement inspection to mandate that the property owner either restore the pool filtration system to full operation or permanently drain and fill/remove the pool structure."
