QuikGo Soil Remediation -- Installation of a petroleum remediation system at an existing, paved commercial fueling facility, at the direction of the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD Facility ID 0330629) under an approved Corrective Action Plan. Work includes setting an air sparge/multi-phase extraction (AS/MPE) remediation trailer within an 8-foot privacy fence enclosure, installing eight 4-inch recovery wells and two 2-inch air-sparge wells (flush-mounted), and approximately 300 linear feet of 2-foot-wide by 2-foot-deep trenching to house subsurface remediation piping. Trenches will be backfilled and the surface restored to existing grade. No installation or relocation of utilities is proposed, and all utilities will be located via Georgia 811 prior to work. Total land disturbance is well under one acre. Upon completion of the remediation program, all wells and subsurface features will be properly abandoned in accordance with Georgia water well standards. The two-inch air-sparge wells and four-inch recovery wells will be plugged from the bottom to the top. The well manholes and vaults will be filled with concrete and finished flush with the existing surface, and all subsurface piping will be disconnected and abandoned in place within the backfilled trenches.
