Currently, the tree mitigation fee is calculated to be ~$31k which is presenting a
significant financial burden to the project. Additionally, the fee seems to be very high
given the size of our site (.57 acres).
Per the following landscape plan and tables, we are more than doubling the existing tree
coverage (7,214sf) with the new coverage (16,700SF) + are providing 268sf of coverage
above the minimum requirement (16,700sf provided vs 16,432sf required).
Given the information provided above combined with the significant, potentially
prohibitive, financial burden the mitigation fee presents, we ask for consideration for the
mitigation fee to be waived.
