Property Maintenance -- Rodent/Pest Infestation- I want to report a rat infestation at 431 Page Avenue, NE 30307. I have been inside the structure and can confirm it was contaminated with extensive rodent droppings. The neighborhood understands this house is going to be torn down. I am filing this public health hazard report now so that it is permanently attached to the address. I am requesting that Code Enforcement flag this property so that no demolition permit can be approved in the future without a mandatory, certified rodent abatement and clearance by a licensed exterminator. I also want to report that there is most likely asbestos and lead paint in the house that will need to be mitigated before and during demolition.
