Fieldhouse on Fowler is a proposed indoor multi-sport fieldhouse and associated site redevelopment located on the Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI) campus at 4801 E. Fowler Avenue, Tampa, Florida. The project site is located within the incorporated limits of the City of Tampa and will be developed for the Tampa Sports Authority and Hillsborough County.
The project includes the renovation and reuse of portions of the existing campus facilities, together with the construction of a new approximately 175,000-square-foot indoor sports and events facility. The proposed development is intended to serve as a year-round destination for youth sports, community recreation, educational programming, regional athletic tournaments, and other assembly or special-event uses. The primary athletic program includes a flexible multi-court fieldhouse designed to accommodate up to 12 courts configurable for basketball, volleyball, and other indoor recreation activities.
