LANDINGS EAST L100/C Fire Damage Repair - CIR2026-00028 - Minor fire in living room.
Drywall removed from several rooms
and garage.
Fire damaged rafters will need to be
replaced.
Damaged area around fireplace will
need to be repaired.
Drywall removal has exposed several
knee wall to attic space areas. The
insulation in these areas will need to
be upgraded to current code. A 2x6
cavity with air barrier on attic side and
R19 insulation is required in these
areas.
Drywall at garage ceiling needs to be
5/8' type X where removed.
Permit will need to be open for
Structural. Permit will need to be open for
Electrical.
Power is off to house. Ground wire is
not connected at meterbase and will
need to be connected to 2 ground
rods 6 feet apart.
Minor damage to wiring at living room
in area of fire. All damaged wiring will
need to be replaced.
Smoke alarms will need to be
upgraded to current code throughout

Minor duct damage (missing) will
need to be repaired.
Supply/return to living room needs to
be replaced in floor No apparent damage to Plumbing
system.
