554 Allen RD NE, 30324 -- To Whom It May Concern:
Please find attached the stamped structural engineering letter prepared by Mason Peterson, [PE042468], of Skywark Engineering, P.C., addressing the removal of a load-bearing partition wall located between the kitchen and dining room at the above-referenced property.
The attached letter specifies the structural support method required to safely transfer the loads previously carried by the removed wall. Per current Office of Buildings policy, this office is not reviewing structural drawings at this time; responsibility for the design's code compliance rests with the Engineer of Record, as noted in the attached document.
This submission also includes removal of one additional non-load-bearing interior partition wall, which does not require structural modification and is included here for completeness of the renovation scope.
Please contact me at 615-491-2297 or tudoji@gmail.com with any questions regarding this submission.
Sincerely,
Timothy Udoji
