ÍInstallation of two new fixed (non-operable) picture windows on the side elevation of a single-family residence. The affected wall is approximately 23 ft wide and 9 ft tall. Each window rough opening is approximately 36"–48" W × 64" H, with both windows the same final width, positioned symmetrically on either side of a center wall area. The wall is an existing 2x6 exterior stud wall (studs 16" o.c.) with siding. Each opening to receive a doubled/engineered header sized for the span, with king studs, jack studs, cripples, and a doubled sill. No change to building footprint. Exterior finish (siding, flashing, weather-resistant barrier) to be restored to match existing. The affected wall faces the side/rear yard adjacent to an undeveloped wooded area with no neighboring structure.
