Structural revision to provide updated structural details for existing slab and footing conditions discovered during excavation, to address constructability and ensure compliance with applicable code requirements. Field verification identified several discrepancies between the existing conditions and the plans, including footers indicated as CMU that were found to be existing brick, footers shown on the plans that were not present in the field, and existing footers that were not reflected on the plans. An existing slab beneath the former addition between the main house and garage was also discovered that was not reflected on the plans. The engineer revised the foundation plan to accurately reflect the existing field conditions and added a footing connection detail at the existing slab.
