The “active” case itself will remain open in Accela until compliance is achieved. An inspector has been assigned to the case and an investigation will be conducted accordingly. The property owner will be given an appropriate amount of time to remedy the violation(s). Failure to bring the property into compliance could then result in a Code Board Hearing where fines can be assessed against the property, or a Civil Citation can be issued, which carries an automatic fine and appearance in Civil Court.

To access the portal, simply copy and paste the following link to your browser: https://aca.tampagov.net/CitizenAccess/Default.aspx. At the top of the page, hover over Search, click on Enforcement Cases then follow all given instructions. NOTE: this is a free service and registering for an account is not required.
