Scope of Work: Master Bathroom Addition: Building Permit
Project Address: 9521 N Dartmouth Ave, Tampa, FL 33612
Project Description: Interior residential alteration to construct a new master bathroom within the existing footprint of the single-family residence.1.
General Construction / Framing:
? Construct non-structural interior partition walls using wood studs to frame the new master bathroom layout.
? Install appropriate moisture-resistant cement board at wet areas and standard drywall elsewhere, finished to match existing surfaces.
? Install a new interior solid-core door for bathroom access.
Plumbing:
Install new supply lines (PEX/copper) and drainage/vent piping connected to the existing residential plumbing system for a new water closet (toilet), vanity sink, and walk-in shower.
All plumbing work to comply with the Florida Building Code - Plumbing.
Electrical:
Install new electrical wiring, junction boxes, and outlets (GFCI protected where required) for vanity lighting, exhaust fan, and general power.
Install a dedicated switch-controlled exhaust fan ducted directly to the exterior.
All electrical work to comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Florida Building Code - Electrical.
Finishes
Apply waterproofing membranes to shower pan and wet wall areas prior to tile installation.
Install floor and wall tiles, vanity cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, and bathroom accessories.
HVAC:
For this project we don’t need any alteration or
Mechanicals permits because there ir an existing a/c vent at the are.
All construction, plumbing, and electrical installations will strictly adhere to the current Florida Building Code (FBC) and local City of Tampa amendments.
Detailed Plumbing Scope of Work:
1. Sanitary Drainage & Venting Tie-In:
Install new sanitary drainage piping (PVC Schedule 40) from the new master bathroom fixtures (water closet, vanity sink, and shower).
Route the drainage lines through the floor assembly and exit the exterior wall directly to the south side of the residence.
Make a direct connection from the new bathroom drainage waste and vent (DWV) system into the existing main sanitary sewer line located outdoors on the south side of the house.
Install a proper exterior wall termination for the plumbing vent stack to ensure adequate air circulation and gas release.
2. Water Supply Piping:
Tap into the existing residential hot and cold water distribution lines.
Route new supply lines Pex to feed the new master bathroom fixtures (water closet, vanity sink, and shower) with independent shut-off valves.
