Running Water and Gas to Pool -- nstalling tee and isolation valves with boxes for irrigation and pool fill line. Trench approximately 250’ from right side of house to back left corner around the pool and through the foundation wall. Install new 1” high density polyethylene pipe with tracer wire. Install new ball valve and pressure reducing valve in valve box at the back left corner of the pool.
Install new 1 1/4” riser for existing gas line at pool equipment pad. Install a tee and valves for heater and deck. Install new 1” poly gas line with tracer wire along trench for pool lines.
Trench new ditch around pool to the corner of the deck and lay new pipe with wire in trench. Use provided conduit and get poly to underneath deck. Transition to black iron and run approximately 25’ to existing piping and tie in. Provide pressure test.
Connected to the existing 1-1/2" PVC water line located midway up the hill and installed new 1-1/2" PVC piping to the irrigation valve box near the condenser. Installed a new tee and isolation valves to serve the irrigation system and pool auto-fill line.
Trenched around the retaining walls and up the hill to the rear corner of the pool. Installed new 1" high-density polyethylene (HDPE) water service piping with tracer wire. Tracer wire was brought to the surface every 5 feet to comply with inspection requirements. Installed a new irrigation valve box at the camera post with a new ball valve. Pressure tested the water line to 100 PSI. Extended the new 1" HDPE line to the existing 3/4" PVC automatic pool fill line. Left the final connection disconnected pending successful inspection and confirmation that all existing leaks have been repaired.
Trenched from the pool deck to the pool water line chase and installed a new 1" underground polyethylene gas line with tracer wire. Installed a riser through the existing chase provided by others. Ran new 1" black iron piping beneath the deck and tied into the existing gas piping, abandoning the previous gas supply line. Routed the new 1" gas line and the existing 1-1/4" polyethylene gas line to the equipment pad, installed new risers, tied both lines together, and pressure tested the gas system to 15 PSI.
