B. Scope of Work 1. Roof Tear-Off: Remove existing asphalt shingles, synthetic underlayment, and all roofing accessories down to the structural Roof Deck. Remove all existing gutters, downspouts, and flashings. 2. Full Roof Deck Replacement: Remove the entire existing Roof Deck and replace in kind, matching existing material, thickness, grade, span rating, and attachment method, over the full 13,800 SF roof area. Refer to Section 07 05 00 – Roof Deck Replacement. 3. New Roofing System: Furnish and install a complete new steep-slope asphalt shingle roofing system including high-temperature ice and water protection membrane, synthetic underlayment, architectural asphalt shingles (ASTM D7158 Class H, 150 mph minimum), starter strips, ridge caps, and all accessories. Refer to Section 07 31 13 – Asphalt Shingles. 4. Sheet Metal Flashings: Furnish and install all associated sheet metal flashings. Refer to Section 07 60 00 – Flashing and Sheet Metal. 5. Gutters and Downspouts: Remove and replace existing box gutter and downspout system with new box 24 gauge galvanized steel gutters and downspouts with conductor heads. Refer to Section 22 12 00 – Gutters and Downspouts. 6. Total Roof Area: Approximately 13,800 SF; steep-slope, 3.5:12 pitch. 7. The gymnasium roof is a non-vented conditioned assembly. No ridge vents, eave vents, or other ventilation openings shall be installed. C. Work Not Included 1. Interior work below the Roof Deck. 2. Structural Framing Repairs. 3. HVAC, electrical, or plumbing work unless specifically indicated on the Contract Drawings. D. Related Documents 1. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions, apply to this Section. 2. Related Sections: 07 01 50.19, 07 05 00, 07 31 13, 07 60 00, 22 12 00. E.
