Revision submitted to add engineered balcony repairs to the existing Building 9 permit (BLD-26-0519802), in accordance with the attached signed and sealed NV5 structural drawings (project 2026.191.303, dated August 27, 2026, sealed by Carter A. Nelson, P.E., FL No. 101130). Scope covers the second-floor balconies on the west elevation and consists of spalled slab edge repair - sawcut 4 inches from the slab edge, removal of deteriorated concrete to expose reinforcing, epoxy-anchored #4 dowels at 12 inches on center with transverse reinforcement, and non-shrink repair concrete at minimum 4,000 psi; cementitious topping to restore a minimum 2 percent slope away from the building; polyurethane sealant at all joints, penetrations and wall-to-slab interfaces; a Sikalastic 1500 traffic coating system carried 6 inches up the building; and installation of 3/8-inch concrete anchor bolts to reset the steel balcony railings. Design is per 2023 FBC, ASCE 7-16 and ACI 318-19. This scope supplements the balcony concrete repairs in the previously approved permit; the remainder of the previously approved scope of work remains unchanged.
